EOSC Synergy participates on the PID Policy and Implementation Task Force. The Task Force has described a number of ‘core activities’ in its charter. The aims are mainly to identify the current and emerging PID standards, identify use-cases, identify and set up various criteria for PIDs in EOSC, and collect and describe best practices for PIDs supporting FAIR data management for the EOSC community.
The EOSC Synergy members follow works of both focus groups established in the PID Task Force: Focus Group A, that focus on mapping current PID-related activities in the EOSC context, and Focus Group B, that aims collecting community-specific use cases and perspectives. The results of analysis of EOSC Synergy can be used as inputs for works of the Focus Groups.
